Statement |
I
was in prison and you came to me ... Truly, I say
to you, to the extent that you did it unto one of
these...of mine, even the least of them, you did
unto me." "Whoever serves me must follow me; and
where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will
honor the one who serves me."
(Matthew 25:36, 40; John 12:26) The
vision of the Prison/Jail Aglow Prison Ministry
is to:
- To go wherever women
are incarcerated
- To tell the good
news of Jesus Christ
- To bring life and
hope through faith in Him
- To minister through
prayer and fellowship
- To love unconditionally
with the love of God
- To lead women into
praise and worship

WYOMING AGLOW PRISON MINISTRY
CASPER, WYOMING
WWC AGLOW MEETING MAY 8, 2010 We only had the one meeting because no one signed up for the medium custody meeting. Attendance: Minimum Custody 4 (first timers 3); Freedom Team 8; When we arrived at the WWC lobby, it was almost full of visitors for Mother’s Day, so it took a little longer to check in. We later found out the reason we never experienced this other Mother’s Days was they just changed the minimum custody visiting hours from 3:30 (after our minimum meeting) to 12:00-4:00 (during our minimum meeting). Again, our meeting attendance doubled (1 two months ago; 2 one month ago; and 4 this month). Elaine began the meeting by singing a song from the Lord over the ladies (at the end of this report), then began her Mother’s Day message, by telling them she never liked that day, because her mother had left her father, brothers and her, when she was very young, which caused her to suffer rejection. She resisted her first child, but she was saved 6 months later, falling in love with Jesus, when He appeared to her, carrying a lamb around His neck. Her first husband was not a good man, so, beginning to feel drawn back to old things and battling frustration with her first babies, she told God she couldn’t do it without Him, and He said, You don’t have to. God became her husband and began to teach her how to be a mother, and it can all be found in the Bible. She told the ladies they have an anointing to pray blessings from the Word daily over their children, knowing God will send angels to perform the Word on their behalf. Elaine shared the story of Ruth and Boaz as an example of honoring our mothers, and the blessings that follow. She finally met her own mother at 18, and God helped her to forgive her, though her mother wouldn’t even talk to her about the past. Many years later, after being obedient to do things for her mother that she really didn’t want to do, a great relationship developed between them, especially after her mother was saved, and it was an honor to be with her in her last days. Relationships were also made with her sisters, who had lived with her mother during their growing years. They gave their mother’s Bible to her, along with some other things. Elaine gained even more insight about her mother by reading the things she had underlined in her Bible. God will replace and restore what is lost and broken. God wants relationship with us. He wants to honor us, and us to honor Him. If we love Him and let Him love us, then we can love others. Repentance is a gift. We need to honor God, parents, the aged, church officials, body of Christ—each other. We can honor or dishonor with our words. Pay attention to what comes out of our mouths, especially when we wonder, where did that come from? It shows what is still in our hearts. That even when we’ve forgiven, hurtful feelings often remain that God wants to take out of us, and we need to pray with someone about it. What we say really matters. We need to ask Him to help us. Every morning we can consecrate our tongues to say what God says about us and others. What we think about God, how we see Him is the most important thing there is to us. He is a wonderful, loving, awesome, Father God. He likes to sing over us. He’s a great God. There’s no time or place that He isn’t with us, we just don’t always acknowledge Him. We had four prayer teams of two for ministry, so, the ladies received prayer from as many as they wanted to. Most received prophetic words from Elaine and Cristina.
FREEDOM TEAM DECLARATIONS AND PRAYER REQUEST As more and more ungodly conditions at WWC grow within the Center, such as Zen meditation, Buddhist meditation and Wicca, we would ask you to exercise faith with us by declarations of God’s truth over the WWC, such as Light overcomes darkness; No weapon formed against us shall prosper; Victory is ours in the name of Jesus; Revival is coming to WWC; We have favor at WWC; and any other truths the Lord gives you. We want to call those things that are not as though they are, not how they seem to our senses, and would really appreciate those of you who would join us in this. Pray for God’s covering for the Christian inmates and for their Light to shine.
GOD’S SONG AND WORDS OVER THE LADIES (what is in quotes is sung, the other is spoken) “Hurts and pains you’ve come through. Want to ease them for you. Come to touch My people. I want you to know I love you. You mean all to Me. Lay it all down. Come to Me, and I will take the pain, Yes, I say I will take the pain.” The Lord says that He loves the idea that you came today to put Him first, to come and honor and spend your time with Him. I see in the Spirit, He’s pouring out His glory in this place today. It’s just like gold. It’s just pouring out from the throne of Heaven. It’s pouring down on you four girls, all of us here. But you four came. You set yourself aside today. You could be watching those movies. You could be doing this, you could be doing that, but you chose to come here today to get in touch with Him. It pleases His heart that you would say, I’m going to go seek God, and He says that you will not be disappointed. I see in the Spirit, right now, I see the eye of God looking down upon you, and His heart and His love for you is so full. He shines His radiant love at you. He wants you girls to know that He loves you. He so loves you. Oh, it’s a beautiful thing to see the eye of God, just so beautiful. He wants me to encourage you in that you know His eyes are always upon you. You think sometimes, does He even see me? Does He even care? And, the Lord says today to tell you, Yes, I see you, my beloved. I see you and I do care. “When I look at you here, I see what I made. When I look at you, I see what you don’t see. I know this love. I loved you when I made you. Yes, I made you. When I look at you, I see what I made so long ago. Yes, I made you. Know that I love you. Know that I love you, yes, I do, oh, yes I do. Know how I love you, yes I do, yes, I do, and I say to you, oh, yes I do. I truly love you, oh, yes I do. Well, yes, I do.”
